I’m knitting this little sweater for Gram for our Intarsia class scheduled later this month. I had been vacillating over what style to create: raglan, drop shoulder, saddle shoulder, top-down, bottom-up, in the round, flat…. Would you believe I’ve written up instructions for most of them while trying to decide.
I finally settled on a bottom-up, baseball raglan knitted flat, partially because working intarsia in the round is a bit tricky. So far, I’m very happy with how it’s turning out and can’t wait to see the little guy can wear it. It’s an 18-mth old size which means that Gram will probably fit into it… tomorrow. I swear, he’s growing by leaps and bounds right before my eyes! His 6-mth check-up is next week (already!) so it’ll be a nice surprise to find out how much he’s grown!

The initial plan was to insert a fish motif in the front, but Husband agreed that a big G for little Mr. G would be a nicer addition.
