During the springtime, Eric and I try to head out to the Botanical Gardens every weekend to watch the blooms take place. Usually, we’re the first at the door so as to avoid the heavy crowds that tend to filter in soon after. There are so many beautiful things going on at once that one can miss it with just a blink of an eye. This year, our little one joins us as we enjoy the wonderful weather and springtime colors.
Over the past two weeks, we’ve admired the magnolias, cherry blossoms, redbuds, daffodils, and bradford pears. Just this weekend, the dogwoods, tulips, azaleas, and pretty much, every plant in sight are opening their petals. Many others are also opening their leaves, and the following weeks will be another wonderful feast for the eyes.

Gorgeous photos! I love the Botanical Gardens
BTW, the other night I dreamed that you rearranged/”made over” the shop and started selling handmade soaps and incense only it wasn’t cool, it was just sorta weird (think like Spencer Gifts). And you moved all the sock yarn to drawers, so in order for me to pet it I had to keep opening different drawers. And I wasn’t allowed to take out more than one skein at a time.
‘Twas a sad dream.
Sounds more like a nightmare. I would never do that!!
Consider yourself fortunate! Things don’t start budding or blooming here until mid-May!
