Toby, our 10 y/o black lab, passed away this past weekend due to cancer. An ultrasound the Friday before indicated that Toby had a primary tumor in her spleen and metastatic tumors in her liver and each of her lungs. Her health deteriorated very rapidly, and she passed away on Saturday morning.
Eric and I had taken last week off for vacation, hoping to spend a part of our time getting things done around the house and then attend an arts & craft fair at War Eagle Mill later on in the week. Rather, our time was spent with our pup and letting her know how much we loved her. We miss her very much.

oh, thi, i am so sorry to hear the sad news. i’m sure she lived a life well-loved but i know your heart misses her so. they are the purest companion, aren’t they? be well.
