Not exactly a great business mentality, but I don’t mind so much.

Lately, the only time hubby and I get a chance to spend a day together is during a snow day when his office closes and the shop closes.
Actually, I will say that we did leave the house to go to the shop, drove about two miles, turned around, and came right back home. I definitely didn’t want to travel in this weather nor would I had wanted anyone else to.
Given the amount of snow St. Louisans have had this winter, I’ve accumulated at least three vacation days! That’s three (3!) days I’ve had to spend with the hubby in the last four months (excluding Christmas and New Year’s Day).
The snow (now gone) came in the AM and continued all afternoon long. It was wonderful! There was so much chasing and running around - the pups loved it!
Toby spent most of the time trying to get her tennis ball from Maggie. Here, she looks on in aggravation as Maggie refuses to give up the ball.
Maggie, when not stealing Toby’s ball, was eating snow. She’s the best dog to play in the snow with. She actually lunges for the snowballs you throw at her.
I tried my best to coax our kitty, Hector, out into the snow, but he knew better. One look at the snow, and he casually turned around and walked back to his sleeping spot.
I’m not sure how much more snow we’ll get, given that Spring is just around the corner. However, considering how finicky the weather has been, perhaps another vacation day is in the wings!
